Central China Normal University Wollongong Joint Institute graduation ceremony took place in China on the 24 July 2021. A total of 194 students who had completed their Master of Engineering or Master of Computer Science in 2020 or 2021 attended. The ceremony was held at Central China Normal University Wuhan campus and was also streamed virtually for those who were not able to attend physically.

The ceremony was opened by Dr. Lihua Luo Administrative Dean, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education, CCNU, the graduation speech was presented by the UOW Chancellor Ms. Christine McLoughlin and the occasional address was provided by multi-award winning speaker, trend forecaster, bestselling author and UOW alumnus Mr. Michael McQueen. This was the biggest cohort of students to graduate from the Joint Institute since it commenced in 2016.
