On the afternoon of September 28, a delegation from Xidian University, led by Jing Cao, Vice Dean of the School of Electronic Engineering, and Xinyue Li, Director of the Cooperative Education and Confucius Institute Office within the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, visited the CCNU Wollongong Joint Institute. The delegation held a symposium with the Joint Institute in Meeting Room 8007 of the Nanhu Comprehensive Building. Xu Du, Dean of the Joint Institute; Jun Xu, Vice Dean; and relevant faculty members attended the meeting, which was chaired by Vice Dean Jun Xu.

On behalf of the Joint Institute, Dean Xu Du extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation. He provided a comprehensive overview of the Institute's development and achievements, covering key areas such as management mechanisms, imported curricula, quality assurance, evaluation and accreditation, scientific research and innovation, as well as graduate employment. Both parties engaged in in-depth and productive discussions on core issues related to Sino-foreign cooperative education, including recruitment promotion, talent development, faculty development, and administrative management. They also shared management experiences, particularly regarding the strict enforcement of graduation standards and the unwavering adherence to academic benchmarks. The delegation expressed high appreciation for the Institute's achievements and shared its own valuable experience in conducting Sino-foreign cooperative education within the engineering disciplines.

This meeting enhanced mutual understanding between the two institutions and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation in the internationalization of higher education. Both parties expressed their commitment to maintaining close communication and working together to elevate the quality of Sino-foreign cooperative education, ultimately cultivating talent with global competitiveness.
