CCNU Wollongong Joint Institute Conducts Inter-University Exchange Visit in Henan

To deepen inter-university cooperation and attract high-quality prospective students, a delegation from the CCNU-UOW Joint Institute visited Zhengzhou University, Henan University, and Henan University of Engineering in September 2025. The delegation was led by Xu Du, Dean of the Joint Institute, and included Jun Xu, Vice Dean, as well as admission program managers Nianze Hu and Xuelu Pan.

Representatives from relevant schools at the three host universities held in-depth discussions with the delegation on topics including Sino-foreign cooperative education, talent development, and faculty development. The delegation also conducted on-site inspections of the teaching facilities and learning environments to explore future directions for collaboration. Dean Xu Du stated that the Joint Institute will actively promote resource sharing and collaborative development, working hand-in-hand with partner universities to elevate the level of international talent cultivation.


During the visit, Xu Du delivered a series of academic lectures titled "Intelligent Technology and the Future of Education" to students majoring in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, and related fields at the three universities. Combined with the development trends and frontier technologies of artificial intelligence, he explored the impact of intelligent technologies on educational models and future society. He also shared the Joint Institute's latest research achievements, which aroused strong interest among students in AI research and applications and received highly positive feedback.

Concurrently, a specialized admissions policy briefing session for the Joint Institute was held. The session introduced the Joint Institute's distinctive educational features, advantages in international cooperative education, and the career and postgraduate prospects of its graduates, opening a window for students to gain a deeper understanding of international talent cultivation. Attendees expressed great curiosity and anticipation regarding the Institute's internationalized educational model, actively asking questions about admission policies, curriculum design, and career pathways.
