On January 15, 2018, the 2017-2018 academic year scholarship award ceremony of JI was held in the conference hall of the Yifu International Conference Center. Deputy Party secretary of CCNU Professor. Qin Hong and JI Dean Pro. Yu Xinguo addressed at the ceremony and invited guests from relevant departments of CCNU presented the scholarship certificate to the JI students. The ceremony was chaired by JI’s Deputy Dean Mr. Wu Helin.

At the ceremony, Mr. Qin Hong spoke of the work of JI in 2017 positively and congratulated all scholarship students. He said that current society requires innovative industry-oriented talents, and hoped that everyone should have a positive attitude for study and life, cherish learning opportunities, improve their theoretical study and application practice. He expected that everyone can make persistent efforts in the following year and strive to be better.

Prof. Yu Xinguo, on behalf of the JI, expressed his gratitude to people who endorsed JI over the past year and was grateful for the trust of all the faculties and students in JI. He summarized the work by JI in the past year and elaborated his expectations for the future development of JI.

After the ceremony, the faculties and students of JI held a talkfest, which was answered by Pro. Yu Xinguo, Mr. Wu Helin and the relevant teachers. In the meeting, students expressed their views about study and life, and discussed their expectations for the future development of JI.
It is learned that, to encourage JI graduate student's enthusiasm of learning and scientific research, JI established a full arrange of scholarship, including Full Scholarship Award (80000 Yuan), Encouragement Scholarship Award (40000 Yuan), Endeavour Scholarship Award (10000-30000 Yuan), and Alumni Scholarship Award (12000 Yuan).
