On the afternoon of April 16, 2026，Lei Ju, Party Secretary of the WUST-Madrid Complutense Institute; Fangxin Xiang, Deputy Party Secretary; Wei Hu, Vice Dean of Teaching; Xiaoli Zhou, Vice Dean of Administration; and Jing Song, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, together visited CCNU Wollongong Joint Institute. A symposium was held at Meeting Room 8007 in the Nanhu Building. Xu Du,Dean of the Joint Institute, Jun Xu, Vice Dean of the Joint Institute, and relevant faculty members attended the meeting, which was hosted by Jun Xu.
Dean Xu Du extended a warm welcome to the WUST-Madrid Complutense Institute delegation on behalf of the Joint Institute. He provided a systematic overview of the Joint Institute's development and operational practices, covering its operations, talent development, quality assurance, accreditation, international exchanges, and research collaborations. Lei Ju commended the Joint Institute's educational achievements and briefly introduced the development, student recruitment and admission, faculty development, and campus infrastructure of WUST-Madrid Complutense Institute. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions about the enrollment strategies, curriculum integration, faculty development, student affairs, and academic atmosphere as well.
This visit effectively enhanced mutual understanding between the two institutions in the field of Sino-foreign cooperative education. Both parties agreed to take this exchange as a starting point to jointly explore innovative pathways for Sino-foreign cooperative education and contribute to cultivating high-quality internationalized talent.
